Nee Naan Nila - Audio Review

Nee naan nila..

A relatively new film produced by Bharathan Films directed by MPS Sivakumar.

Music is by Dhina.

New comer Bharathan is the hero. Looks like he has produced and acted as hero in this film.

The opening song is Oyyale .. is sung by Malathi and Actor Chimpu.. a fast paced dancing kuthu song in dina’z style. Song looks like situation song for chimpu as the song starts with Oyyale kowthuputtalae.. indirectly referring Nayan Thara :) Chimpu has sung well.

Second song unnai santhithaen is well sung by Harish Raghavendar and Harini. A fast paced melody song. Feeling good to listen to Harinis voice after a long time.

Third song Oorai maranthOm is tuned well and beautifully sung by Hariharan about college life. I liked the portion when he says Ooorai, uravai and paravai.. Songs in betweenil varum swaramz and rap portion augurs well with the song.

Fourth song, kadhal kaadhal a slow paced melody sung by Harish Ragavendar..

Fifth song, maathu maathu is sung by timmy, dhina and suchithra.. song opening nalla irukku.. kaathalikka naeramillai varum viswanathan vaelai vaendum song remix seitha eppadi irukkumO appadi irukku :-) Maathi maathi beata yaethum paatu :-)

Sixth song, matham pudicha sung by Sunitha Sarathy, idea lifted from famous Khallas song in Hindi.

Seventh song, en kaadhal deivam is sung by Vijay Yesudoss.. looks like Aavi song.. yaetho pei paadra maathiriyae paadi bayamurutha muyarchi seithu vetri petru irukiraar vijay yesudoss.

Eigth song.. Darling Oh darling.. endra song sung by Gayathri.. shorta irunthaalum sweeta irukku.. Indha paata veetla sounda vecha.. veedu thada thadanu aadum :) appadi oru thada thada song.. but that sound looks interesting.

Recommendation – CD

I just saw the DVD. Not having seen a recent Tamil movie in years, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the new heights that Indian Tamil cinema has reached. Sivakumar is a talented Director who could be the challenge to the over-powering Hindi silver screen. The three main actors, music and dance sequences add credible flavor to the production. I am glad I bought this DVD today.
