Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaaya - Movie Review

Watched this Simbu movie recently. Director Gautham Menon has portrayed a different kind of simbu for us. Simbu is looking extremely good in this film. Good make over I should say. Well supported by heroine Trisha. She looks awesome in most of the places. Thanks to some beautiful photography and soul finding musical hit songs of Oscar Hero A.R.Rehman.

The first half has some interesting scenes with occassional lip locks of lead pairs. The second half definitely tests your patience level and keeps dragging till the end. Any love movie where the heroine & hero does not get united fails miserably at box office. Though this movie had record opening collections during week ends will find it extremely difficult to hang on in subsequent days.

Second half namm porumaiyai sOthipathu simbuva, trishava, gautham menona endru solomon paapaiyavai vaiththu oru patti mandRamae nadaththalaam.

A.R.Rehman music & background is the highlight of this movie. His re-recording lifts the standard of watching a movie. Photography needs special mention. All locales, rich visuals adds beauty to this film.

Gautham Menon entertains us in first half. Second half he gets confused whether he should go in minnale way or kandukondaein kandukondaein way. Finally ends the movie on a confusing note.

Watch out only if you are hardcore simbu fan & for Oscar hero ARR's music & back ground score. I could see lot of college cutters with their pairs at the Theatre. Only this section will enjoy.

My rating - * * (2 out of 5)

My Punchline -

Vinnai thaandi varuvaaya - Bore-ya ! ( Second Half)
