Now coming to the story,

Unnale Unnale" is a story about an educated urban youth caught in a love tangle. Director-cinematographer Jeeva's latest flick is a cool romantic treat after his successful films "12B" and"Ullam Ketkume".

It's simple and emotive. Jeeva's camera, Harris Jayaraj's music and the dialogue of S. Ramakrishnan make the film gripping.

The most part of the film was shot in Australia.

Here goes the story...Karthik (Vinay), a software professional, and Jhansi (Sada) are lovers. Jhansi is an introvert and so possessive of her handsome boyfriend that she would not bear even a sight of his turning and having a look at another girl. But Karthik is a broadminded youngster with a modern outlook. Though he loves only Jhansi he is very sociable and mingles with other girls also. Jhansi becomes wary of Karthik's conduct and concludes he is a voyeur. This leads to clashes between them and she decides to distance herself from Karthik.

In this background, Karthik gets a job in Melbourne, Australia, and on his flight meets Deepika (Tanisha), a jovial and outgoing personality and they become friends. Unexpectedly Karthik runs into Jhansi in Melbourne. As it happens, Deepika is Jhansi's roommate and learns about the relationship between Karthik and Jhansi back in India and what caused the rift between them. Deepika understands Jhansi's feelings and tries to bring her and Karthik together.

In the process, Deepika herself falls in love with Karthik. How this romantic tangle is resolved makes the film a winner.

Cool and composed Vinay (the like of Madhavan) and bubbly Tanisha (Kajol's younger sister), portray their characters realistically. Sadha as a possessive introvert and egoistic lover has taken lots of pain to put in her best. This is not something new to her. She had done in Priyasakhi and Anniyan. Its a cake walk for her.

The story is laced with comedy by Raju Sundaram and Srinath. Director Jeeva, who doubles up as cinematographer, vividly captures the picturesque Melbourne skyline in its entire splendor.

Harris Jayaraj's music strikes an instant chord with the audience. Three songs, including the title song, have already become hits. The background score has a lingering effect. With only three characters the director has made "Unnale Unnale" a gripping tale.

Watch this film, only for its good locations and frame to frame PHOTOGRAPHY.
