Slumdog Millionaire Audio Review

ARR’s Slumdog Millionare album, I guess I am the last person in this world to review its audio :-)

I wish along with my blog readers, "ARR and his musical team" for creating new sounds / waves in this album. Getting nominated for Oscar is 50% victory for Indians. I am not surprised if ARR gets Oscar award for this album. Fresh tunes and new sounds created has all the potential to get the coveted Oscar Awards for us.

I salute this little genius for making all of us proud. I have met him in Planet-M, Mumbai when he released his "Bombay Dreams" album. That was the day when my dream came true when he autographed a copy of Bombay Dreams Audio CD and gave it to me. That was the lovely moment to treasure in my life.

Ringa Ringa – sung by Alka Yagnik & Ila Arun

This song reminds us "Cholike Peeche Kya hai" song from khalnayak. Song tuned on the similar lines. The catchy words “Ringa Ringa” keeps ringing in your ears even after disconnecting this album from listening. That is the beauty of this song. Generally ARR’s tune takes time for us to grew in us. You need to multiple listening for an ARR song to grew in you. But this song appeals when you hear it on the first time itself. Sung well by ila arun and beautifully by ever green alka yagnik.

Jai ho – sung by Sukwinder Singh, Tanvi Shah, Mahalaxmi Iyer & Vijay Prakash

This song has a wonderful opening and sung beautifully by Sukwinder Singh. This song has the catchy words “jaya ho” which will make all the lips in this world to say these words when they listen to this song. The violin interludes are superb. Probably these violin interludes, oscar nomination peoples might not have listened or experienced and probably that is the reason this musical album has been nominated for Oscars. The end violin bits are superb. I don’t know how many times I have heard this song. When I heard for the first time, I knew this song is going to be a massive hit not only in India but the entire world. Good creativity. This jaya ho tune is messmerising. Well done ARR.

Liquid Dance

The opening notes again are superb. Violin bits are of very high standard, world class quality and rings superbly in your ears. All the 3 minutes are audio treat to your ears. I have listened violin power plays only with iLaiyaraja’s music. This is the first time, I have listened in ARR’s music. Especially music at 0.59 seconds to 1.09 violin bits are superb especially at 1.24 to 1.44 and at 2.29 & 2.38 are master pieces.

Other than these three, rest are ARRs imagination and creative tunes he has given us.

Just grab this Audio CD released by T.Series priced at Rs.160/- and enjoy it thoroughly. This is one best way of paying tribute to this Little Genius. I wish him all the very best.
