Now to the review

1. thada thada - sung by karthik / kalyani penned by Yugabharathy

This song has interesting sounds. The song opening is different. Karthik voice is getting sweet day by day. thada thada endru rail-la pogira maathiri oru feel indha songla. Violin interludes are good. Kalyani & Karthik had sung well. Welcome Jack Anand to this music world. My pick of the song from this album.

2. megamaai - sung by Bellyraj, Sangeetha penned by Thaamarai

Whenever thaamarai pens a lyric there is expectation from everybody to see what she had written. A slow melody song. Well sung by Bellyraj & Sangeetha. My choice of singer for this song would be Bombay Jayshree. Then this song would had a different look and dimension. Sangeetha had tried to give Bombay Jayshree's feel. On repeated hearings this song tempts you to listen once again.

3. kaadhal saalai - sung by Haricharan penned by Srinivas

Another melody song sung by Haricharan. The rhythmic beats and use of flute, violin are good. I liked the portion "thanimaiyilae konjam azhuthaen naan thavikkaiyilae nenjam maRanthaen un ninaivil oLinthukoNdaen peNNae peNNae" This is one more song haunts you if you put on "repeat mode". Well sung by Haricharan!

4. Aiyaiyo - sung by Tippu, Manicka Vinayagam, Jack, Yuvi penned by Na.Muthukumar

Opening and inbetween violin bits are good. A fast racy pacy song sung by Tippu & Manicka Vinayagam. Charanam is good than the pallavi. NMK had penned the lyrix well. Tippu is one of my favourit singer. I like the way tippu sings "aiyaiyaiyo"!

5. Oh nenje - sung by Harish Ragavendra, Reeta penned by Na.Muthukumar

A soft song sung by Harish Ragavendra with fast racy beats! As usual Harish had sung well.

6. Jack unplugged - sung by Jack Anand penned by Srinivas

This is short and sweet song. Use of guitar is good!

I always welcome New Music Directors. You cannot expect a big block buster hit from a first timer Jack Anand. However in this album, he had tried to give his best and three out of six are worth listening on repeat mode!

My rating: 3 star * * *
for Jacks' creative tunes and sounds!
