Ninaithaale Inikkum - Movie Review

Vijay Antonys' superhit songs made me to watch this film in Inox Theatre. At the end of this movie I thought they should have renamed this film as "Ninaithale Kadikkum" or "Ninaithale Kasakkum". Just with one major twist in hand, they had tortured everyone for 2 hours. I have not seen the original Classmates which everyone highly appreciates. I dont know whether they followed exactly the Original. Malayalam subjects generally doesn't suit our Tamil filmdom is my view.

Prithviraj comes up with a decent performance. He has matured a lot with his performances in Tamil. Priyamani comes like a doll and their onscreen chemistry needs a special mention. It looks like this is Shakti's film as the film story revolves around him. Bhakyaraj has been totally wasted in this movie and for his calibre he is a misfit in this role.

Big music by Vijay Antony and he has given scintilating hit numbers be it "bannaras pattu katti" & " en paeru mullah" both are rocking numbers. The one song which stands out is "azhagaai poothathae". Prasanna the singer I hate the most has sung this song beautifully with new singer Janaki Iyer whose voice stands out and this lovely number is the last song I hear daily before I sign out to my bed. The way this song is picturised is awesum. Cameraman has done a good work. Throughout the film the visuals look so rich.

With aggressive marketing by sun pictures & lovely music by Vijay Antony these film might look like a big hit. Which is actually not. With no big films running in theatres, there is a "maayai" (illusion) that this film is declared hit.

Actually A/C Theatrela "E" Otraanga pa ! A pretty average film.

My rating - * *

Vivek's Punchline:

Ninaithale Inikkum - Ninaithale Kasakkum !
